Stallions
In keeping with
our commitment to have top quality brood mares we seek the best
stallions to complement our mares.
The stallions are
not ours but are among the most desirable for the breed. All
stallions are chosen for their quality in passing on desirable
traits of temperament and rideability. Of course a stallion is
only one part of the equation and is why we endeavor to match
the best stallion to our mares based on their ability to deliver
their part of the equation.

His Highness
(by Hohenstein x Donnerhall) 2000 Black 16.1 hh
His Highness was
the 2002 Hanoverian Licensing champion, and was the stallion
Performance Test winner in Prussendorf and licensing champion at
the Danish Warmblood licensing. His Highness was purchased
by Doug and Louise Leatherdale of the United States and remained
at the Stallion Station Meyer in Dorum , Germany. This
outstanding stallion was trained under the supervision of Klaus
Balkenhol who felt he held great promise for the Grand Prix.
Tragically the
stallion sustained a fracture in an accident at the station,
where despite intensive veterinary efforts, the fracture was too
complicated and His Highness had to be humanely put down on
April 30, 2007. The filly he left us with is truly his princess
and may be seen on the foal page.
